Day 6 Wednesday, February 7, 2018 At Sea
Relaxing on the promenade deck on another beautiful, sunny day on the Pacific Ocean. It was Morgan's birthday. It was a lazy day. Woke up late. Attended the presentation on mega-cruise ships, specifically, the new ones from Norwegian.
I tried to slide down the pool slide, but my body would not slide on it! I think they needed more and faster running water. We hot tubbed with a couple from Quincy, IL. Dinner was with a couple from British Columbia who thought our healthcare system was completely crazy. They were preaching to the choir. The theater show was fabulous, called Band on the Run.
The captain made a "major" announcement that when we would get to Nicaragua in two more days, we would be visiting a different port due to bad weather. Apparently, the port in San Juan del Sur, toward the south of the country, is not as protected as Corinto, in the northern part. They had to alter many of the tours, although some could remain the same. We went to the Excursion Desk to change ours.
