Temecula wine, and Rick and Beth's

Rick, Beth, Janet and I are sampling wines at Wiens, where R&B are members. Janet and I previously tasted at South Coast Winery, and we enjoyed our evening in Valley Center.

Our original plan for the day was to visit Ted and Maha Jolly at their home in nearby Sage. We learned later that Maha was quite ill, so only Ted would join us at a Temecula winery for a visit. However, a few days earlier, Ted informed us that Maha's illness had grown more serious, and he could no longer visit at all. What a disappointment!

Therefore, Rick and Beth came up to visit us at Wiens. On our drive from Norco to Temecula, we stopped briefly in Lake Elsinore and enjoyed the historic old buildings. We first went to South Coast Winery and enjoyed tasting six wines and sitting outside.

We then drove to their house, and enjoyed dinner and visiting. We looked at their Morocco photos with a travelogue of that trip we missed. A nice day in sunny Southern California!
